Default Event Involved People Code Table

This code table relates an event type with a default involved person type. When a default involved person type is set for a specific event type, any time that event type is scheduled, the default person type is automatically involved. Defaults use involved person types and not specific name records. This functionality allows you to always involve a specific type of person (e.g., arresting officer, witness, etc.) without searching for individual name records.

Finding the Default Event Involved People Code Table

  1. In the Administrative Tools group of the Explorer toolbar, click System Administration.
  2. Select Tools | Default Event Involved People.
The Default Event Involved People code table will be displayed in the Default Event Involved People snap-in.

Tip: To access this code table through the Code Tables link in the Administrative Tools group rather than the System Administration link in the same group, click admEventInvDefault.
