A role is a set of stored database object permissions. Roles provide a much more efficient method of granting access to the system than defining all of the permissions for each individual in your organization. Roles may be created for individuals or groups.
The roles included in the JustWare system will provide appropriate database access for most organizations. You may also add your own roles with defined access rules required by groups of people in your organization at any time.
The following roles are provided with JustWare:

Each JustWare release upgrade overwrites changes and restores default database roles to their original settings.
Additionally, the roles above operate hierarchically. For example, JW_Super_User is a member of all other roles. If JW_Power_User was modified to no longer allow the deletion of records, members of JW_Super_User would also no longer be able to delete records.
The purpose of the JW_JusticeBroker_Queue role is to insert messages into the JusticeBroker Queue without the need for administrator rights on all involved implementations of JustWare.
To refine permissions further than those specified in the default security roles, either create new custom database roles or manage JustWare's security profiles at the application level.
