The status bar, located at the bottom of the JustWare application, provides the user with valuable feedback messages. Four types of messages are displayed, each with an identifying icon:
Information These messages are displayed when an allowed action has been completed, such as adding a record to a snap-in. |
Action Successful These messages are displayed whenever an action, such as saving a session, is completed successfully. |
Warning The status bar will turn yellow and display a warning message if an action has been attempted that is not allowed or a business rule has been violated. For example, a warning message would be displayed if a user attempted to exit a row with a required field without first entering or selecting a value for it. (Required fields are indicated by an asterisk.) |
Error The status bar will turn red and display an error message whenever an illegal action is attempted. |
The messages that are displayed in the status bar are saved in a session history. To view a session's history, click the expand button to the right of the status bar. Once the session history has been expanded, users can view a chronological list of all communications with the server since the session was opened. (The most recent actions are displayed at the bottom of the list.)
Export Status Bar: Export the current log by clicking Tools | Options | Export Status Bar and select either To Clipboard to export the Status Bar to your clipboard, or To File to export the session log to a file. The session history can then be printed or emailed to a JustWare Administrator for troubleshooting any errors.
