JDA 2 Templates
The JDA Groups code table lists the various JDA template groups saved in the database. This code table, in conjunction with the JDA Templates code table, enables you to organize your templates. For example, select a Description from the JDA Groups code table. Based on the Description in focus, the JDA Templates code table will populate and display which templates belong to that group.
Note: Using these code tables, JDA groups may be added, but they cannot be deleted. Conversely, JDA templates may be deleted, but they cannot be added.
Saved changes are reflected in the database files for the JDA 2.0 Editor. There are several factors to remember when viewing your changes:
- If you use the JDA Templates code table to delete all of the templates for a group, that group will not appear in any of the windows in the JDA 2.0 Editor. For example, that group will not be listed as an option when you try to open a group saved in the database.
- If you save changes in the code tables while you have a window open in the JDA 2.0 Editor displaying the templates and groups, you will need to refresh that window to see your changes.
- If you save changes in the JDA 2.0 Editor while you have the code tables open, you will need to refresh your code table session to see your changes.
For more information on JDA 2 templates, refer to the JDA 2.0 Editor User Manual.
