Choosing a Search Tool

JustWare provides a variety of searching tools that produce different kinds of results depending on your searching preferences. Use the following to determine which search tool is right for you:

You want a quick search for a name and/or case Use Quick Search located at the top of the Explorer Bar. See "Quick Searches" for more information.
You want a quick search for a case only Use Case Quick Search in the Search group identified by a case icon: See "Quick Searches" for more information.
You want a quick search for a name only Use Name Quick Search in the Search group identified by a name icon:  See "Quick Searches" for more information.
You want to search for a name only but view your results in an easy-to-use grid view Use Name Search to choose from a variety of search parameters and view results in a grid view. See "Name Search" for more information.
You want an advanced search with very specific parameters Use Advanced Case/Name Search to specify search parameters and display results in an easy-to-use report form. See "Advanced Case/Name Search" for more information.
You want to search the content of documents that have been stored in a name or case filing cabinet Use Document Quick Search located in the Search group and indicated by a document icon:  See "Document Quick Search" for more information.
You want to search the Internet using Google JustWare is equipped with a GoogleSearch button that allows you to quickly perform a Google search for a name via Internet Explorer. This button appears in the Actions group of the Explorer toolbar only while in a name session.
