Explorer Toolbar

In this article:

The Explorer toolbar, located in the left-hand area of JustWare, is collapsible and includes several important JustWare options. These options vary depending on your permissions and the type of session that is active.

Quick Search

With JustWare Quick Search, you can search on an index of fields for any case or name record.

Note: See "Searching" for more information on the Quick Search.

My JustWare

My JustWare is customizable to give you pertinent workflow information such as active cases, scheduled events, and team activities.

The My JustWare session is the default logon screen. It is configured to display several reports specific to you and your logon. These reports are hyperlinked to relevant JustWare sessions. Depending on your permissions, different My JustWare views are available in the Views group of the Explorer toolbar. For example, the My JustWare page may contain a calendar listing all the events on which you are listed as an involved person, as well as information on all active cases with which you are associated.

Note: See "My JustWare" for more information on My JustWare.

Actions

The Actions group contains all actions that can be performed in the current session. These actions vary depending on the active session. Common actions, available depending on your permissions, include the following: Save, New, Delete, Merge, Copy, Refresh and Close Session.

Reports

This group displays all reports available for the current session in addition to Report Builder, which opens Microsoft Report Builder. All System and Custom reports can be accessed in the Utilities group, by clicking System Reports. See "System Reports" for more information about System Reports. Talk to your JustWare Administrator about adding specialized reports or adding certain reports to session views.

Note: The Report Builder feature is only visible in the Explorer Toolbar if you have permission to access it. Report Builder reports must be saved to a folder you create called "Custom" to ensure that they are accessible through JustWare; never save them to the default folders, such as the "Model" folder. For example, if you would like a Report Builder report to appear in the Reports group of the Explorer Toolbar when you are in a case session, create a "Custom" folder inside the "Case" folder in SQL Reporting Services, and save the report there. For more information about Report Builder, talk to your JustWare Administrator.

Views

A View is the format in which information is displayed within the current session. It determines which snap-ins are visible. Your organization and your personal permissions determine which views you can access. Each view is customized to cater to different roles in your office workflow. For example, data entry personnel need access to different information than supervisors or administrators.

If you have access to more than one view for the current session, they are listed in the Views group.

Web Browser View

Name records can be viewed in a web browser view. When you open a name in this view, you are taken to the default Web page specified to run inside JustWare (the default set by the administrator in JWXML). By using this Web Browser view, you are able to view web information without leaving JustWare. Your default Web page might be an intranet or a specific Internet site. Using the search field, you can visit alternate sites as well. Additionally, parameters can be set to conduct a Web browser search from a session data set.

The Search group contains tools that allow you to search the JustWare database in a variety of ways. See "Searching" for more information on searching.

  • Pending Payments: Manage all payments that were paid by check and are awaiting funding.

System Reports: Reports display formatted JustWare data in a variety of ways.
